a quick hello

Like so many, I am in the process of migrating to other sites in anticipation of the Great Tumblr Exodus. Not that I really post to Tumblr often- I primarily use it to keep up with the Star Wars fandom (in particularly, Rogue One and rebelcaptain) and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that not everything disappears over there. I love reading fic and hope to continue to follow my favorite authors and artists, so here I am on dreamwidth, and I'm waiting on a pillowfort key as well. I'd love to be more active in fandom, so maybe this Tumblr debacle will have a silver lining and I'll crawl out from behind my screen and get more involved. I can be shy online, though, so if I stumble my way to your blog and botch up saying hi, I hope you'll forgive me.

(ETA: I swear I'm not some rando drifting around offering pillowfort keys . . . I'm dropping in on journals that list rebelcaptain to get a sense of who might want to join a fic rec community if I set one up.)

That is so very kind of you, but I have already paid and have set up my pillowfort! Navigating all of these different sites might give me a headache, but it'll be worth it, I think! And I totally recognize your name- I'm pretty sure I follow you on Tumblr (it's the only site where my name is different, it's twiceihavelived) and I'm sure I've read some of your fic before! Thanks for reaching out, and I'd absolutely love to join a rebelcaptain community! Let me know if you do set one up!!

And you're in luck! Mollivanders (ladytharen on tumblr) and I have just set up a branch of the Rebelcaptain Network here on DW. Not sure how to linky in the comments, but if you search the communities or my journal, you should find it without too much trouble.
