Oh, so I did a scary thing today, and posted my first Rogue One fic. I'm trying to ease my way back into writing, so I thought that starting with a prompt would be the way to go. I found some great ones at thefulcrumcaptain's Cassian Andor Promptathon and thought I'd try one. The prompt was Cassian examines his reflection. Here's the link to my story on AO3:

I read it and I loved it and I thought you did a really good job with Cassian's character throughout the story.

Also, I too suffer from having to hide from my computer after I post. It's just gut wrenching, wondering if you did it well or if you didn't; if people are going to like it or if they're going to hate it.

But you did it well, and I'm glad you decided to post fic again.

I really liked this piece, the way you combined the prompt with the comment about Jyn being Cassian’s mirror was a great concept and your prose is lovely.

Wow, thank you so much! I've been feeling pretty vulnerable about posting and I've gotten such an amazing response from people, so it means a lot that you commented!

Full disclosure, I am a huge fan! I'm totally in love with your AUs like Fixer Upper and Read Me Like A Book (and let's not forget the one with The Most Beautiful Man In The World!!) but I have to say my absolute favorite story of yours is i fought the war (but the war won). Jyn and Cassian are so in character in these other lives, and it's still true to the Star Wars universe. I haven't read it in awhile, but if I recall, wasn't there two endings? One super sad and one not? I remember only having the guts to read the sad one knowing that there was a happy ending to follow! Anyway, sorry to ramble, but I just wanted you to know that I really, really like your stories!!

Oh hey, thank you very much! I'm still really proud of "I fought the war", and when you write AUs it means a lot to know that people find the characterization in tune with canon. (And yes, I did write 2 endings - it was always intended to end sadly because it fit with the theme, but after spending so much time with those versions of Jyn & Cassian I had to write a fix-it for my own story, lol.)
